My passions have changed over the years, I used to tackle an idea or craft or project, play with it for awhile and then, bored, would tackle the next idea, craft or project that came along.
I have stuck with two obsessions for a few years - yes I did say years! The first being scrapbooking. I began to scrap our life adventures even before the resurgence of scrapbooking, which has now become such a big business --- I however, missed that boat as far as being able to capitalize on the craft. Sigh - that's another life saga though.
I discovered photography and video ... and creating mini feature films by combining the stills with the moving parts of our life.
So, it only made sense to me that these two obsessions would unite into one. My scrapbooks are now digital versions rather than the paper variety and they combine into moving tributes when my digital photos and journalling, are merged into a movie.
The past few years my husband (Gord) and I have had the privilege and opportunity to be able to travel. We have been fortunate to meet so many amazing people some of whom have become very dear friends. Our travel excursions may not be as adventurous as the extreme travellers, but they are our adventures and we love to revisit our journeys often.
I would love to hear about your tales, your reasons for travelling, where you go, the places you stayed, why you chose the places you did. Who knows maybe during our next trip we will cross paths and become good friends ... and you'll hear me in the background saying "hey ... take me with you".
